A fine, rare and large Swiss chromed open faced keyless lever split-seconds chronograph stopwatch with progressive central 60-minute register, circa 1940. Gilt brass movement, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Steel hinged cuvette. Black dial with painted white Arabic numerals, outer 1/5th of a second track with 5-minute/second Arabic markers, central 60-minute register dial, original white baton hands and red split-seconds hand. Polished case. Dial signed. Accompanied by a fitted Breguet box.
