A fine and rare Swiss stainless steel, enversteel, open faced chronograph keyless lever dress watch with tachometer, instantaneous 30-minute and 12-hour registers, circa 1940. Nickel-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, chronograph with visible work, push-pieces on each side of the pendant. Silvered dial with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second numerals, outermost blue tachometer scale calculated for 1000 meters, subsidiary dials for seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, original luminous blued steel lozenge hands. Polished and brushed case, inclined bezel, snap-on back. Dial signed, movement and case signed and numbered.
