Eberhard & Co SA, Swiss watch manufacture
This Swiss watch company, Eberhard & Co SA, was founded in 1887 by Georges-Emile Eberhard in La Chaux-de-Fonds; in the same year, he presented his first pocket chronograph. In 1907, the Eberhard manufacture headquarters were inaugurated on Rue Léopold Robert in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 1919 the sons Georges and Maurice Eberhard took over the management. From 1919 Eberhard also became the official supplier of the Royal Italian Navy. In 1926 they took over the company completely.
