Platinum, gold and diamond-set minute repeater

An extremely fine and rare Swiss platinum, yellow gold and diamond-set hunting cased minute repeating lever pendant watch made for the Oriental market, circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 25 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Platinum hinged cuvette. Matte silver dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel spade hands. Case on both sides and the band pave set with 451 diamonds, yellow gold hinges, crown and bow. Cuvette punched H&E, case and front-plate of movement numbered.
