–
A fine Belle Epoque pendant watch of gold, platinum and enamel with diamonds and the original chain, probably made by LeCoultre in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1910. The numbered, open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold covered with violet guilloché enamel, the back is decorated with floral rose cut diamond set platinum ornaments (some diamonds are missing), the winding button has a large rose cut diamond, the rim is decorated with further small diamond roses and the pendant is also diamond set. The white enamel dial has black Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions and heavy moon hands. The movement has a lever escapement.

It is not clear who made this very ornate case. In 2012, number 21291 was auctioned in Geneva. It had a similar diamond decoration and chain. There are comparable pieces with seller signatures from Cartier and Chaumet.
