Stainless steel Staybrite chronograph by Eberhard & Co

A fine and very rare, large Swiss stainless steel Staybrite open-faced chronograph lever pocket watch with a 30-minute register, telemeter, and tachometer, made in the 1930s. Rhodium-plated movement, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Black enamel dial with luminous Arabic numerals, outer silver-painted seconds divisions, a telemeter scale and outermost tachometer scale, subsidiary dials for the 30-minute register and seconds, luminous skeleton hands. Polished and brushed case, inclined bezel, flat band, co axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to zero function of the chronograph, pusher-shaped slide at 2 o’clock for locking the chronograph. Dial, case, and movement signed, movement and case numbered.
