Gold gentlemen’s pocket watch

A very fine and thin German 14 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1930. The frosted gilt ¾ plate movement with 16 jewels, a calibrated straight line lever escapement, Lange Guillaume type cut bimetallic compensation balance with timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, the terminal stud adjustable by a screw and a swan neck micrometre regulator. Champagne coloured dial with champlevé Arabic hours, an outer minute track with 24 hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and original blued kite hands. A solid polished case, the hinged gold cuvette with an engraved presentation inscription. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the original guarantee and fitted presentation box
