Gold and enamel open faced verge watch

A fine Swiss 22 Carat gold and enamel open faced verge pendant watch with fine painted on enamel dial depicting Venus and Adonis, circa 1690. Hinged, gilt brass full plate movement by François Hochenadel, Vienne, circa 1770, conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three armed brass balance, pierced and engraved foliate continental cock, polished steel end plate with faceted garnet endstone, silver regulation dial. Gold dial with bold Roman chapters on a white annular ring, the centre with a finely painted scene of Venus and Adonis and gold Louis hands. Case with curved in edges, the back painted with the scene of the Bath of Bathsheba, the interior is decorated with a rural landscape, the band with four cartouches depicting countryside landscapes, loose ring pendant.
