A fine Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette, glazed gold rimmed cover over the movement. White enamel dial with painted Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track and Arabic five minute numerals, original gilt Louis XV hands. Polished case, the front with engraved monogram. Movement signed under the hour hammer, case stamped with Maurice Ditisheim’s trademark of a cherub holding a bell.
