A fine and rare Swiss gunmetal open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1910. Matte gilt movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Hinged gunmetal cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, commemorative inscription below 12, Souvenir de la Visite du President de la Republique Française en Suisse, 15-16 Aout 1910, and original gold spade hands. Plain case. Dial and movement signed, case signed and numbered.
