A very fine, rare and elegant Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1940s. The movement with Geneva Striping decoration, Ø 40 mm, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature adjustment screws, adjusted to five positions, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Polished and brushed case, a protected winding crown, snap-on back.  A satine silver dial with applied gold Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold baton hands. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with a fitted presentation box.
