A fine French 18-carat rose gold hunting cased chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second division with five-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and original gold spade hands. Polished case, the front with an engraved monogram. Dial, cuvette and movement signed, case numbered. Accompanied by the original A.H. Rodanet fitted box.
