A fine, rare, thin and elegant Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless dress watch made by Vacheron Constantin SA in Geneva, circa 1920. The rhodium plated movement with 29 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator, repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. A hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. Matte gold dial with black champlevé Roman hours, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands.  The polished case with a curved bezel and hinged back.
Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
