Gold glazed pocket watch

A museum quality Swiss extremely rare 18 carat gold pocket watch, The Vase, made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. The case is glazed on both sides. A small, white enamel dial on the face with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions and blued steel hands. Gilt verge movement in the form of a vase with a visible balance on the back and a fine engraving below. The watch comes in an old tortoise-shell presentation box.
