Unusual silver chronometer pocket watch

An unusual Austrian pocket chronometer/masterpiece in a richly decorated silver case, circa 1893.
Silver/gold “à goutte” case, lavishly engraved fowling scene with monogram “AS”, dome with engraving: “Specialität in Remontoirs, Chronometer No. 1, gebaut von Carl Sonderwald, Linz a/D., 1893”, glazed movement, gold pendant and crown. Signed enamel dial with subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Steel bridge movement, freesprung helical balance spring, pivoted detent escapement, gold screw compensation balance.

Most likely this watch was the masterpiece of Carl Sonderwald , who was born in 1868 in Neulengbach near Vienna. From 1887 on Sonderwald worked in Linz; he died in Linz in 1947.
