A rare Austrian quarter repeating coach clock, circa 1720.
Silver case with polished back side, pierced and finely florally hand-engraved border on the front side, rear bell, string for repetition and large lateral hinge. Signed champlevé dial with inlaid radial Roman hours, Arabic minutes and pierced gilt hands. Full plate movement, applied, engraved, florally pierced decorations, firegilt, signed, with chain/fusee, Egyptian movement pillars, engraved barrel, two hammers, verge escapement, three arm steel balance, very finely florally engraved and pierced balance cock.
