Markwick Markham was a business partnership of a British clockmaker James Markwick II (1662 – 1730) with his son-in-law, Robert Markham (d. 1747), which was also recorded as Markwick Markham and Markwick and Markham etc.. Markham’s son James retained the brand that became popular at the so-called Ottoman market. James Markham entered into brief partnerships with many British clockmakers to produce clocks and watches for the Middle East markets.
