An American stainless steel open faced keyless wind military navigation master watch issued to the Air Force, circa 1942. Nickel finish jewelled Swiss lever, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, adjusted to 6 positions and temperature. White enamel dial, Broad Arrow, black Arabic numerals and outer minute divisions with Arabic numeral 5 minute markers, black inner minute track, blued steel spade hands and centre seconds. Brushed and polished case, screw down back engraved MFR’S PART No.3992B ↑ Serial No.1126-1942 A.M.6B/60. Case, dial and movement signed.
