An English 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with eccentric seconds, circa 1880. Gilt finished 3/4 plate lever movement, some jewels carried in screwed gold chatons, minute repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and eccentric seconds at 9 o’clock. Engine turned case. Dial and movement signed, case stamped with maker’s mark ‘AB’.
