Gold, enamel and pearl set musical form watch with three figure automaton

A fine and very rare Swiss 18 Carat gold, enamel and pearl set lyre form musical watch with three figure automaton and visible balance made for the Chinese market, circa 1820. Gilt finished cylinder escapement. Small white enamel dial with Arabic numerals to the front, subsidiary decorative diamond set balance all within a light blue enamel background, gilt and white enamel floral and urn design, time dial flanked by translucent red guilloché enamel and pearl set bezel. Lyre form case scrolled sides front and back with black enamel, stylized Swan neck heads, all set with pearls, blue enamel and gilt motif to the base, the reverse a polychrome enamel pastoral scene, musical automata with three multi coloured gilt figures moving in time to the music, the lady to the left playing a hurdy gurdy, her arm moving up and down, seated boy beating the drum, gentleman dancing, gilt finished musical pin barrel movement concealed under the automata, top of the lyre surmounted by two chased doves.
