An early and rare Swiss 18-carat gold hunting cased keyless lever with eccentric subsidiary seconds, circa 1852. Gilt finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and eccentric subsidiary seconds between 7 and 8 o’clock. Engine turned case, hinged back. Cuvette, dial and movement signed.
