A fine Swiss vari coloured gold and gem set lyre shaped keywound verge watch, circa 1820. Chain fusée verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock. Gilt engine turned dial with Roman numerals on the engraved chapter ring, hinged within the rose gold lyre shaped case, applied gold scroll bezel with ruby or emerald set cardinal points and similar horns, the reverse with applied vari coloured scroll and floral motifs within a laurel wreath bezel embellished with rubies and turquoise beads, with engraved pendant hoop. Case numbered.
