A Swiss silver open faced keyless lever deck watch in wooden box, circa 1943. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, micrometer regulator, wolf’s tooth winding. Silver cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel spade hands, outer railway minute divisions and subsidiary seconds with military arrow marking. Plain case, hinged back engraved with military markings ‘H.S.’, military arrow and the number 2, in brass holder with screwed bezel set within the two tier mahogany box with sticker labelled Issued from H.M. Chron. Depôt Bradford-on-Avon and stamped 6 Sep 1939. Case, dial and movement signed and numbered.
