A fine and rare Swiss stainless steel open faced keyless lever watch with sweep centre seconds, circa 1929 and 1935. Retailed by Walser, Wald y Cia. Movement manufactured in 1929, completed and encased in 1935 and sold in 1938. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Silvered two-tone sector dia with black enamel baton and Arabic numerals, outer ring calibrated for five minute divisions, blued steel feuille hands and sweep centre seconds. Plain case, snap on back. Case and movement signed by watchmaker, dial signed by watchmaker and retailer, case and movement numbered.
