A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1908. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, repeating on two hammers onto two gongs. White enamel dial with gilt Breguet numerals, outer beady minute divisions and constant seconds, repeating on two hammers onto two gongs. Gold cuvette engraved Longines, 4 Grands Prix, Paris-Paris, Milan, Bruxelles, Répétition a Minutes. Case with diamond set scroll and foliage and translucent scarlet enamel sides, polychrome enamel view of Constantinople to the front, a polychrome enamel bouquet of flowers to the back, repeating slide in the foliage decorated band. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered.
