A very rare, large and unusual Swiss silver and 18 carat rose gold open faced cylinder watch, circa 1820. Gilt finished keywound cylinder movement. Gold cuvette. Engine turned two-tone silvered dial with Roman numerals on plain chapter ring. Silver case, rose gold bezel, pendant and bow, engine turned silver reverse with rose gold rim, eccentric small oval cartouche with blue champlevé enamel monogram. Cuvette signed and numbered, dial signed.
