An English 18 carat gold half hunting cased minute repeating  keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1870. 3/4 Plate gilt finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs activated through a slide in the band. Gold cuvette. Engraved silvered and gilt dial with foliate motif, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds. Chased and engraved case with foliate design to hinged case back, band and front cover, front with polished chapter ring with blue enamel Roman numerals at the aperture. Case and cuvette stamped AF for Alfred Stram, with London date letter for 1870. Movement signed.
