A fine American 14 carat tri-colour gold hunting cased railway keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1899. Mechanical nickel finished full plate damascened lever movement, gilt center zone, 21 jewels with flush screw settings, bimetallic compensation balance, rack and pinion Hampden type regulator. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic five minute divisions and subsidiary seconds. Case with box hinge, front cover with central blank cartouche on engine turned background, beaded border with tri-colour floral motif, all surrounded by engraved floral design, the reverse with tri-colour floret on engine turned background, beaded border with tri-colour floral motif, all surrounded by engraved floral motif, engraved band. Dial and movement signed, case signed Solidarity, case and movement numbered.
