A fine and rare American 14 carat tri-coloured gold and diamond-set hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1900. Nickel-finished jewelled damascened lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance. Gold cuvette. Red guilloché enamel dial with gilt Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and Louis XV hands. The case back with a tri-colour gold leaf motif centred with a diamond all bordered by a tri-colour gold floral motif and engraved swag, the front with monogrammed cartouche framed with a tri-colour gold floral motif, surrounded by a tri-colour gold floral swag and engraved geometric design, beaded rims, hinged case back. Dial and movement signed, case signed W.W.C. MFG. Co, case and movement numbered.
