A rare French gilt open faced key wound double wheel duplex pocket watch with day, date and start/stop center seconds, circa 1810-1820. Full plate gilt finished jewelled double wheel duplex movement, chain fusée, oversized three armed balance, pierce and engraved balance cock, silvered regulator, rounded pilasters. White enamel dial, subsidiary time dial at the 6 position with Breguet numerals, outer calibrated minute track, two additional subsidiary dials for day in French and date, large center seconds with start/stop button under the bezel. Polished case, coin edged band. Movement and case numbered.
