A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel hunting cased quarter repeating key wound cylinder pocket watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1830. Gilt finished jewelled cylinder movement, three armed mono-metallic balance, quarter repeating on two hammers on to two gongs, repeat activated through a push button in the crown. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Turkish numerals, gilt moon style hands. Case with polychrome guilloché enamel repeating oval shaped panels with floral motif surrounding a gilt and translucent red enamel tendril with central polychrome enamel floral motif, the back with similar polychrome guilloché enamel repeating oval shaped panels with floral motif surrounding a gilt and translucent red enamel panel with inscription, engraved band, stem and bow. Cuvette signed and numbered, case numbered.
