An English 18 carat gold open faced key wound lever watch, circa 1850. Full plate gilt finished English lever movement, chain fusée, three armed balance, gilt dust cover. Gilt dial, chased floral motif to the central zone, outer engine turned chapter ring with Roman numerals and engine turned subsidiary seconds. Engine turned case, hinged movement, inscribed interior back cover. Movement signed, case stamped W.F. and with London date letter for 1850.
