Unusual gold chronometer by Henry Capt

A fine, unusual Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer with dual winding systems, circa 1880-1899. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement with chain fusée for dual winding systems, the movement can be converted between keyless lever and key wound through a lever in the band, bimetallic compensation balance, helical hairspring. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer calibrated minute track with Arabic five minute divisions, sunken subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel hands. Engine turned case, coin edge band, pin setting, hinged back. Cuvette signed and numbered, case stamped A.M. and numbered.
