A Swiss gold and enamel open faced à toc quarter repeating keywound verge watch, circa 1780. Keywound verge movement, chain fusée, à toc quarter repeating on two hammers. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Case with engraved bezel, the reverse with applied vari-coloured gold scene depicting a shrine with a basket of flowers and a quiver full of bows in the foreground against a green and russet enamel background, engraved and pierced foliate bezel, repeating through the pendant. Dial and movement signed.
