A Swiss gold, enamel and pearl-set key-wound verge pocket watch, circa 1780. Verge movement, chain fusée, key-winding. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Case with split pearl-set bezels, the reverse with a painted polychrome enamel scene of a lady in a classical dress paying homage to an urn against a translucent green enamel engine-turned ground. Dial and movement signed.
