A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever watch, circa 1887. Retailed by Bailey Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia. Jewelled lever movement, minute repeating on two steel hammers onto two gongs. Rose gold cuvette with inscription. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Polished case, minute repeating activated by a slide in the band. Cuvette, dial and movement signed by retailer, movement numbered and case further signed and numbered by watchmaker.
