A rare and large English silver pair cased keywound verge watch made for the Tukish market, circa 1751. Two colour gilt verge movement, pierced and elaborately engraved balance cock, scrolled baluster pillars. White enamel dial with Turkish numerals. Plain inner case, plain outer case. Movement signed and numbered, dial signed, inner case numbered, outer case stamped with maker’s mark AF and London hallmark for 1751.
