A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel hunting cased keyless cylinder watch, circa 1854. Retailed by Tiffany & Co, N.Y. Gilt finished cylinder movement, 8 jewels. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel moon style hands. Case to both sides with painted polychrome enamel flowers or fruits to the translucent green enamel on engine turned ground, bezels and band chased and engraved, inner case back inscribed E.L.R. from A.L.R. 1857. Cuvette numbered and signed by watchmaker and retailer, case stamped HU and G.
