A rare Swiss gold, enamel and pearl set keywound verge watch in the form of a lyre, circa 1810. Gilt finished verge movement, chain fusée. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, hinged and concealed within the lyre form case, with a band of pearls and engraved filigree work, the case further highlighted by opaque blue enamel band, the front lid with opaque light blue enamel centred by a musical trophy, the reverse with opaque green enamel centred by flowers and leaves, the sympathetic gilt and enamel open work chain to the top. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
