A fine and rare Swiss gilt, enamel and pearl set open faced duplex watch with flying fourth seconds, circa 1820. Chased and engraved gilt finished duplex movement. Glazed cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, centre seconds and subsidiary dial for flying fourth seconds. Large case, split pearl set bezels, pendant and bow, the reverse with a painted polychrome enamel floral bouquet to the light blue ground.
