A fine and rare English gold and enamel open faced keywound cylinder watch with centre seconds made for the Chinese market, circa 1790. Gilt finished cylinder movement. Gilt cuvette. White enamel dial with centre seconds. Large case, red and green champlevé enamel bezels, the back with translucent blue enamel engine turned ground with a vase of flowers in red, yellow and blue enamel with gold paillons, within a yellow enamel frame with gold paillon borders and champlevé enamel florets. Movement signed.
