Gold open faced minute repeating split seconds lever by Patek Philippe

A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph keyless lever watch, circa 1908. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, minute repeating on two hammers onto two gongs. Cuvette inscribed Mortie from Elaine Dec. 6, 1939. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer ring with red Arabic fifth seconds, two sunken subsidiary dials for 30 minute register and constant seconds. Plain case, minute repeating activated through slide in the band, split seconds chronograph operated through the crown and a button the band, locking mechanism, hinged back with monograms M.H.C. Dial and cuvette signed, case and movement signed and numbered.
