A Swiss silver and enamel open faced keywound lever pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1876. Finely engraved and chased lever movement mono-metallic balance, hinged glass dust cover with key holes. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, Arabic quarter numerals, centre second and blued steel hands. Polished case, attached silver and enamel plaque with birds in flight in a landscape. Case and movement signed, case numbered, with London date stamp for 1876.
