A unique Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set hunting cased pocket watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1920. A polished case, the front cover with translucent green enamel over a guilloché ground with a diamond set representation of the Twelve Stars and Turkish Crescent, the back cover decorated to match. White enamel dial with radial Islamic numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. Frosted gilt movement with 19 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance and blued steel Breguet balance spring.
