A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless watch with chronograph and instantaneous 60-minute recorder, made by Paul Ditisheim in La Chaux-de-Fonds, circa 1930.
A polished case, rounded bezel, and co axial button in the crown for start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph. White enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and 30 minute register with black numerals and blued steel spade hands. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 24 jewels, straight line lever escapement, gold fork, cut mono metallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, chronograph mechanism on the back plate, split seconds mechanism under the dial, push piece for the split in the band. Signature on the dial and movement.
