A very fine Swiss 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch with a long chain, circa 1939. Sold on August 16, 1939. A polished case and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, black Paris numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and yellow gold spade hands. A matte gilt movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, and an index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
