Rose gold open faced repeating ‘perpetuelle’ watch by Du Bois & Fils

A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced ‘perpetuelle’ quarter repeating watch, circa 1910. Gilt finished full plate cylinder movement wound through the large oscillating polished steel rotor in form of a bird’s head or with a key, quarter repeating onto a gong. Gilt cuvette. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals and blued steel moon style hands. Case with pendant locking slide in the engine turned band, engine turned sunburst decorated hinged back with eccentric blank cartouche, repeating through the pendant. Cuvette and dial signed, case numbered.
