A very fine Danish, rare minute repeating pocket watch with split seconds chronograph and independent jumping centre seconds, circa 1886.
Glazed gilt brass case with pusher for chronograph at “12 and 2” and slide for repeating mechanism. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, jumping centre seconds, split-seconds chronograph, auxiliary seconds, blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, nickel-plated, ground, with finely ground chronograph steel parts, 2 barrels with click works, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
