A Danish gentleman’s almost as new minute repeating pocket watch with patented Jürgensen bow setting, circa 1904.
18 Carat rose gold, à goutte and polished case with engraved monogram, slide for repeating mechanism, numbered and signed gold dome and inner lid with presentation engraving: L. D. W. from M. P. W. Christmas 1904. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary second and blued Breguet hands. Signed, rhodium-plated bridge movement with Geneva Striping, two hammers / two gongs, screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device and counterpoised lever.
