A Danish 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with Jûrgensen’s patent 1867 bow hand setting, circa 1880. A polished case, Jürgensen’s patented bow hand setting, gold hinged cuvette, the front and back covers engine-turned. White enamel dial with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Movement with 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with an elongated fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, and large index regulator with an engraved scale on the centre bridge. Dial, case and movement signed.
